Abdurrahman B. Aydemir is a Professor of Economics at Sabancı University, a Research Fellow at CreAM (UCL) and ERF, and an affiliate at IZA. His research focuses on immigration, education, and intergenerational mobility, with publications in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Labor Economics and Review of Economics and Statistics. He has served as a consultant for the European Commission, UNWFP, and national institutions. Formerly a senior economist at Statistics Canada, he received the Turkish Academy of Sciences Young Scientist Award (2009) and currently serves as an IZA World of Labor spokesperson on migration and education.
