Karmen Trasberg (PhD) is a lecturer in educational management at the Institute of Education, University of Tartu. She teaches comparative education and multicultural education in the vocational teacher training programme. She has worked as programme director of the VET teacher education programme at the University of Tartu 2018-2023 and has conducted several qualitative studies related to vocational education and preparation of vocational teachers (implementation of vocational education in Estonian vocational education; role of the development portfolio of vocational teachers in the validation of vocational competences; entrepreneurial competences of vocational teachers).
