We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming EAC Research to Policy (R2P) webinar: Determinants of STEM Participation and Effective Interventions. This is the first webinar of our new 2026 series of events to promote the exchange of findings and foster dialogue between policy and research in education and training.

This webinar brings together a broad evidence review on how STEM participation is shaped by a complex interplay of factors. Speakers include:

  • Kristof de Witte, who will share findings from the analytical report, titled “Factors influencing STEM participation and effective intervention strategies”.
  • Eric Hanushek, one of the co-authors of “Where Do STEM Graduates Stem From? The Intergenerational Transmission of Comparative Skill Advantages” will share key insights from this study.
  • Anna Lager, digital education specialist,  will share key insights coming from the Girls Go STEM initiative,  led by the EIT RawMaterials and supported by DG EAC.
