Description
This analytical report extends beyond analysing the negative impact on children’s education of the COVID-19 pandemic and the measures imposed in relation to it and goes on to describe the various policy responses implemented to counter these threats.
The report focuses on seven EU Member States (Denmark, France, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Slovakia and Sweden) but is also informed by global experience and uses several examples from other countries.
It covers response at the level of primary, secondary and higher education, looking at topics such as preparedness and subsequent policy learning, the relationship between adaptability and decentralisation, measures to support connectivity, as well as mitigation measures after the end of lockdowns.
