ENESET is an international network of experts focused on the economic and social dimension of education and training. It is funded by the European Commission and managed by PPMI, part of the Verian group.
As an advisory body and knowledge broker, ENESET aims to develop and disseminate policy-relevant knowledge and evidence, bridging the gap between research and policy action.
By serving as a gateway to information, ENESET helps European and national policymakers access high-quality research and rigorous scientific support to inform policy decisions, while also facilitating communication and exchange between education stakeholders.
ENESET builds on the foundations of NESET and EENEE. The network currently consists of about 60 experts from 27 EU Member States and other regions and covering complementary areas of expertise in the economic and social dimensions of education and training.
Goals of the network
- Developing analytical reviews and distilling key messages in the economics and sociology of education and training to inform policy decisions.
- Enhancing the accessibility and usability of evidence by translating research into actionable policy recommendations.
- Communicating results clearly and strategically and engaging with policymakers and education stakeholders.
